New Laws Affecting Home Building in 2005

In 2004, all builders must be licensed by the state. In 2005? New homes must be warrantied.
Texas House Bill 730, which went into effect January 2005, covers "residential construction, including certain warranties, building and performance standards, and dispute resolution."
